You guys asked for months, and I talked for months… about getting on YouTube. I dreaded it. I dreaded setting up a camera and talking to it. I dreaded watching myself and my own mannerisms play back, because I’m my own worst critic. I dreaded downloading editing software and having to take the time out to teach myself something new. I dreaded doing what “everyone else” was doing, but realized the necessity of it. So, I finally did it. I’m not ashamed to say I filmed this video in February and it took me two months to get it edited and posted, which is two months longer than I swore it would be. Now that I’ve broken the ice and gotten the hang of it, expect to hear (and see) more of me this way.
I originally planned to answer your #CoffeeTalk questions in video form, but realize there are a ton of questions that I get that would serve all of you better this way. Yes, I will show you how I style my hair, do my brows, and stay in shape, but I’m not a beauty blogger. Most importantly, I will be having some real life conversations with you about blogging and side hustles, women in corporate America, travel and whatever else I want to rant about because hey, it’s my channel! 😉
For now, here’s a quick introductory video where I answer the most common questions I get about who I am, where I’m from, what I do and what sparked The B Werd… If you care to get to know me more, of course. Go ahead and hit subscribe so you can keep up!

Hi Courtney,
I just started following your blog about a month ago, trying to catch up on all your previous posts. I appreciate you crafting this for all the young boss women who are searching for more, and want to break all the glass ceilings in all aspects of life. Keep up the great work, I’ll keep following for sure. xoxo Morgan
Thank you so much Morgan, that really means a lot to me. Specifically because that’s exactly the reason why I created this blog. So to have it acknowledged and accounted for is proof that I’m doing exactly what I’m supposed to be doing. I hope to keep it up! xx
