When I started The B Werd in 2015 I didn’t fully understand how much work I would have to do to see it succeed. As difficult and time consuming as having a blog can be, it’s been one of my biggest accomplishments to build this brand for myself. I’d be lying if I said it was always fun, because often times it can feel like a lot of really hard work, but I’ve learned to create ways to find enjoyment in it all. The best way to enjoy having to run around town, taking photos and finding inspiration is to bring along some things I love, like my favorite Diet Coke® products. I work full-time but I got to enjoy a bit of Spring Break this week. The sun had been shining for the first time in weeks and it was warm enough to enjoy a sunset, so me and my friend Farran loaded our Pure Fix bikes up and rode around on the hunt for pizza, scouting locations to shoot while of course stopping to take a few photos. We love to wing our adventures, so our first stop was Mellow Mushroom – the best pizza I’ve had in a LONG time. Then we rode our bikes through Buffalo Bayou where stopped to shoot and have an impromptu picnic.
Diet Coke — the same crisp, delicious taste you know and love — isn’t changing. Why mess up a good thing? But it does have some adventurous new flavors to try. Naturally flavored Feisty Cherry, Twisted Mango, Ginger Lime, and Zesty Blood Orange are at your local Texas retailers now. I broke out of my comfort zone (I’m a classic kind of girl) and decided to give them a try. The taste of the new additions were bold and unexpected, yet so refreshing. They’re available in 8-packs, but I definitely suggest finding the new sleek on-the-go Diet Coke singles so that you can experience all the flavors.
After the original, Twisted Mango was hands down my favorite. It wasn’t your typical pineapple or papaya taste. Once I had a taste of that sweet smooth mango flavor, I was sold. Zesty Blood Orange was a close second. It really is a fun flavor that makes your senses just come alive. Ginger Lime was nothing I expected it to be, and that’s a good thing. With just the right amount of lime and ginger flavor, it’s so crisp. As for the Feisty Cherry… This one needs a warning. It’s sweet, sure. But this one’s a little bit extra. This one has a little sass and packs a punch. I grabbed mine up at a local Albertson’s but you can click here to find your nearest retailers.
