Booking BeautyNow with Groupon

I’m one of those last minute people that assume the world revolves around them and that everyone will available when I’m finally free. Please tell me I’m not alone in this. We stopped at my in-laws house the day before I was set to leave for Mexico and once we left I called my nail salon assuming I’d be able to go and get a last minute pedicure. Little did I know, Joann was out of the country and decided to leave without telling me LOL. I’m very much so a “stick to what you know” type of a girl and am adamant about keeping who does my beauty services consistent, but with an hour left before most salons close I didn’t have many options. I’d received an email about the new BeautyNow options that Groupon was now offering earlier that day and figured it was worth trying since I was on such a time constraint.

Groupon has been one of my go-to apps for years. Seeing Tiffany Haddish on TV endorsing them made me love them even more. They recently began their Groupon BeautyNow service in Houston so I decided to give it a try. I logged in, used my location to scout beauty deals in my area and had an appointment booked at Bellagio Nail Spa only a few miles from me in less than 90 seconds. I showed up to an empty and clean salon, was seated right away and then offered a complimentary glass of wine. I love Joanne but, I don’t always get this kind of treatment! Nate decided to get a pedicure too since he had no choice but to wait on me. I was able to also book his service while I was getting mine done and pay for it before we were even complete; tip included, which is great because I never carry cash.
