I know, I know… I’m behind on outfit posts so I’m just going to start all over in order to play catch-up. I can’t believe April is only a few days away and the first quarter of our year is gone. In the last 30 days I knocked out two of my five huge events for the year, with one happening this Monday. The events are fun but the planning was painful. My days may be a blur, but I’ve been doing well with the timeline of what goals I set for myself. I’ve been so busy, I haven’t even purchased any new clothes or shoes. Isn’t life crazy?
One thing about being a petite girl is the fact that tight clothes don’t always necessarily flatter us. I grew to love flowy clothing as a teenager because.. nobody wanted to see 98 pounds in a skintight midi dress. Almost 10 years later it’s easily my go-to when I need a quick outfit, am feeling bloated or want to casually dress-up (is that a thing?). I found this boyfriend button-down while looking for a last minute outfit in Zara last month and knew it was just my style. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find this exact one online, but linked a ton of them I’d add to my collection.
I’m the girl who has ten denim shirts in every shade denim comes in because they’re so I can pair them with any and everything, so naturally I loved the shade. It had pockets which was a plus for me and the catchy sewn-on patches it came with helped. I dressed it up with a pair of Aquazzura Pom Pom Sandals, which got complimented every place we stepped into. It was the ideal outfit for a patio lunch and I even ended up switching my heels out for a pair of sneakers to shop afterwards.
Not that I need to add another single item to my wardrobe, but I plan on doing some Spring cleaning this weekend, along with Spring shopping for some purchases to welcome this new season so expect quite a few new outfit posts.

Hey Courtney!
I loved this look because it gave the perfect fusion of feminine street style with the heels for glam. The patches add the perfect touch to the denim.
Flowy clothing doesn’t always have the same effect on me. I end up looking like I just came out of Motherhood Maternity. (LOL) – I would totally rock this with some sneakers though. 🙂
