Christmas is in a few days and we’ve finally got weather cold enough to bring coats out but it’s either been raining or too cold and windy to shoot. I applaud all of the bloggers out in freezing temperatures to make sure they have content to post but as for me, I’m a Texas girl and anything below 50 is basically unbearable. The weather is so bipolar here that just last week this nude lace up dress was fitting for the climate. I’m wrapping up the last few days at work before I take a necessary break for the holidays. I’m still not done Christmas shopping (don’t judge) I’m putting my faith in Nordstrom who is still offering free delivery by Christmas Eve and Amazon Prime for delivery before Sunday.
I still have about four lace-up midi dresses in my closet that I haven’t gotten around to wearing. I love having them on hand because they’re so easy to style and can be worn almost anywhere. This one is a Forever21 find, along with the long-line cardigan; but Revolve and ASOS also have some really cute picks. This cardigan has my Instagram on fire when I wore it here with denim and a plunge bodysuit and it’s finally back in stock. These Juliana heels by Schutz are on sale everywhere now. As comfortable as they are, they weren’t worth splurging on. Target has an identical pair that are now on sale for $20, multiple colors too.
My mind’s already on 2017. There’s not much more that can be done in the next week or so other than revisiting my content, reading some books I’ve had on a shelf collecting dust, and a lot of planning for a bigger and better year with The B Werd. Will any of my Houston readers be in town on New Years day? I’m throwing a big brunch party that’s going to be LIT! Lol come and have some champagne with me.

I love reading your blogs! They are very inspiring and I’m always learning something new from you. As a recent new grad I really appreciate your positive inspiration. Very ironic how I was just telling my friend that I wish you would host a meet & greet for your readers and HERE I see you post about a brunch. Lol. I would love to meet you!
