Happy Friday Eve! Bare with me and these few and far between posts. I’m currently coordinating three of my biggest work events simultaneously as they all fall within weeks of each other. Needless to say I’m juggling quite a bit, but it comes with the territory. This weekend will be my last weekend at home for a few weeks. I’ll be in LA at the end of this month celebrating my friend Ciera’s birthday, then to Paris that following Wednesday to bring some #BlackGirlMagic to Paris Fashion Week. A lot to do in very little time.
I had been searching for a red peacoat since last year’s Nordstrom Anniversary sale when the one I was hoping for sold out before I could get around to purchasing it. I got the inspiration while scrolling aimlessly on a fashion Tumblr account when I ran across a photo of an effortlessly chic girl in a long red coat with skinny jeans on and a high pony crossing a busy street and I knew then, I needed a red coat. Even once I found it at Nordstrom, I was hesitant to pay the $300 price tag but ordered it anyway. Don’t judge me, my flesh is weak.
Still unsure of whether or not I was going to keep the coat, I wore it downtown to a meeting. I’d gotten a dozen compliments before I could even get out of the building. Needless to say, it’s found a forever home in my closet. Luckily for you, it’s on sale for nearly 50% off. This pair of AG Denim has been in heavy rotation. With my slim legs it’s difficult to find skinny jeans that crop my ankles appropriately but these are it and worth every penny. I suggest every woman make a satin button-down a staple in her work wardrobe. I live by this Ralph Lauren blouse inside and outside of the office.
My Havana, Cuba Travel Guide will be up early next week. I’m still sorting through 3000 photos to pick the very best ones for the post but they are all so good. My plans for the weekend include shooting some new looks, filming a new video and finalizing some designs for an upcoming project. Coffee Talk will be up in it’s original format tomorrow, (I know, I know) so feel free to leave your questions below or send them over via email.

Girl, this red peacoat is beautiful! Very sleek and definitely a standout piece. I am so excited for the Havana travel guide. I’ll drop a few coffee talk questions below. 🙂
1. With your career success and blog success, how do you stay on top of your “power hour” and balance each?
2. Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years? Personally and professionally.
3. Paris Fashion Week sounds amazing. Your style is impeccable, have you thought of styling in the future as a hustle?
4. The Bwerd is bursting through barriers and I believe it’s really creating the platform you envisioned. How would you say you continue to drive traffic to your site?
