The start of Spring always makes me want to lean towards pastels and pops of color. There’s a certain freshness that comes with bright leaves and flowers that makes me want to stay out of the black section of my closet for a while…. AKA maybe a week.
For those of you who follow me on Instagram, I purchased these Manolo’s a few weeks ago and the photos just don’t do them justice. Have you ever had something you didn’t want to wear because you liked it so much and didn’t want to ruin it? These are that for me. The suede quality is so creamy and the color is so rich, changing from pink to purple depending on the angle that you’re looking at them from. A colorful heel is one item you definitely need to get you through the Summer.
This white textured pencil skirt is Torn by Ronnie Kobo. I purchased it in Saks at the end of last summer so I can’t find it online but there’s a similar style here. I’m all for the classic feel of a pencil midi-skirt, it has a quiet sex appeal. The knit pattern is so complimentary for slim women and accentuates my silhouette perfectly. The light denim ombre fade of this Urban Outfitters button-down lets it pair easily with white pants and bright colors. MAC’s Candy Yum Yum lip ties it all together.
