Houston has 100+ degree summers so I want to wear as little as possible without being too revealing. What’s more fitting than a bodysuit + denim cutoffs? I added this Revolve blazer only because it’s light enough to still allow me to breathe. It may seem like an oxymoron, but I love the sophistication of shorts and a jacket. I wore something similar to a day party in LA, since the temperature permitted it. If you live down south, my suggestion is to wait until the sun goes down.
I easily spent two summers searching for the perfect pair of vintage high waist cut-offs and failed. No store had what I was looking for. I even went as far as trying to make them and I failed big time. I needed them distressed, not too tight and fitting on the waist. This is the pair that I chose but ETSY has so many to choose from. You can pick how you’d like them cut and the wash of the jean. They shipped quickly and were true to size.
This pair of Giuseppe’s are three years old, but I get compliments every single time I wear them. They have a similar pair out now that I’m seriously contemplating purchasing. I love a strappy heel and the pair I have hasn’t gotten old yet so they may be worth the splurge.

Ok, we are literally the same person. A blazer, cutoffs, and heels is hands-down my favorite outfit. I’ve been searching for years for the perfect pair of cutoff shorts, tried to make them (like 8 times) and failed terribly. I just bought a pair at Urban Outfitters, but they’re not distressed, so I’m checking these out on Etsy for sure! You look amazing!
I literally wasted so much time in thrift shops trying to find the perfect pair of vintage jeans to make them, only to ruin them! LOL did you ever get your pair ordered?
Yes, I did! She shipped super quick as well — I wore them last weekend! Love them — Probably going to order another pair soon.
Ahhh! I am in love with this look! Those shoes are super adorable, I wish they were still in stock.
Honestly, I wish they still were too. I regret not buying two pair! ;(
What was the name of the Giuseppe style you are wearing?
Sorry boo, I can’t think of it off of the top of my head. I’ll have to remind myself to take a look at the box once I get home!
