I have a sickening swimsuit obsession. I hardly wear them twice, and have a bin big enough to fit myself inside of full of them. Swimsuit shopping is seriously one of my favorite parts of preparing for a trip. Whether you’re by the pool getting your tan on or at the beach turning heads, an alluring swimsuit will make your experience way more enjoyable, and will make your ex jealous on-the-gram! This season’s must-have swimsuits got a major upgrade with texture, accessories, and new cuts. And since I plan to be near water throughout the rest of this year, I wanted to round up the styles I can’t get enough of.
Sporty Zippered
These can be so fun if you have a day of activities planned, or aren’t necessarily a frilly girly girl. I wore a zippered swimsuit on our last vacation while we jet ski’d and it was so appropriate.
Underwire
Swimsuits with underwire have a reputation for being uncomfortable, but that’s never been the case for me. For a petite girl like me, the underwire is not just comfortable, but incredibly flattering when highlighting my tiny assets.
Low Back
I always opt for low back swimsuits when I’m going to be anywhere with kids. The pool, beach, or anywhere with my nephews. It’s appropriate in the front while still sexy in the back without showing too much skin.
Long Sleeve
I bought my first long sleeve swimsuit for our St. Lucia trip and got so many compliments on it!
Brides + Bachelorettes
All white everything! I had so much fun hunting down the sexiest white swimsuits for all of my bridal celebrations.
High Cut
When you see high cut, think hips and legs, and extra skin. The high cut is a great choice for showing off your curves and opens up the hips. Not only will your legs look absolutely stunning in this one piece, but they seem miles long too – always a bonus in my book. I must admit, the high cut seems a bit intimidating at first, but once you put it on, the rewards are out of the world.
Mesh
Mesh swimsuits are always a good option to maintaining your sexy, while not exposing it all.
