Last week we had a girls night that started with dinner at Steak 48 in the new River Oaks District and ended with me coming home at 3 am. After a few drinks I was down to go wherever we would have a good time, and that we did. Although I wasn’t expecting anything other than dinner, I’m glad I had on a twist front blouse that would work with a night out as well. 
This pair of Mother denim (different fade here for under $80) is easily in my top three. They’re indeed denim but feel like leggings when they’re on, making them ideal for long days, travel, and nights out. I’m 5’5″ and they crop right above my ankle. This blouse was a Nordstrom find that I originally bought to wear with a leather pencil skirt but has definitely come in handy when I’ve needed versatility. The twist front makes it casual enough for denim while the plunge makes it sexy enough for heels. I own a ton of plunge tops. I love them because they give a wow factor without being entirely too revealing.
These are my favorite Forever 21 heels, that have been out of stock for a while. But I found similar lace-up pairs here and here.

I’m excited for fall too Cass! That is… If it ever gets below 90 degrees LOL. Steak 48 was really cute, the ambiance definitely felt like Miami or Cali. HOWEVER, the cocktails were $16 so expect a major up-charge.
