Wedding season is upon us. It seems as though a weekend doesn’t pass without someone I know attending one. I personally love weddings. I love the meaning behind them, the celebration of a union and last but not least, an excuse to dress up.
There are several unspoken rules I try to stick to – the most obvious being not to wear white or a color remotely close unless instructed to by the bridal party. That includes cream, eggshell or ivory, don’t try it LOL. The second being refraining from anything overly sexy. A sophisticated plunge neckline or a backless dress is as far as I would go without feeling uncomfortable. The last thing you want to do is take eyes off of the bride. Lastly, always opt for something comfortably fitting. If you’ll be doing any dancing, you won’t want a dress you’ll have to constantly adjust or pull.
I’m one of those people who shops for occasions. I’ll buy a caftan just in case I go camel riding in Dubai, without having any plans to go to Dubai. With that being said, I bought this dress from ASOS months ago specifically to wear to a wedding. I love pink hues on my skin when I’m tanned and the keyhole chest peeks just enough skin.

I’ve never shopped ASOS but I want to…can you give some perspective on their quality and sizing?? Would you say their clothes run true to size??
ASOS is easily one of my go-to’s. They have free shipping and returns so even though I can’t try the clothes on, it’s hassle-free getting it back to them should my items not fit. However, 9/10 they always do. I order everything in a 2 and it almost always fits live a glove. Quality is great – easily better than these online boutiques charging twice as much. You should definitely utilize it!
