I’ll be enjoying Chicago this weekend which is my absolute favorite summertime city but I can’t deny that I wish I was here next weekend instead. In preparation for the upcoming 4th of July holiday, I’ve rounded up my festive outfit picks with enough time to get them shipped to you before next weekend. I’m not a cliche stars and stripes kinda girl but I do like to be themed in some way whether it’s a using a bandana to tie together my look or wearing a red lip with all white.
These distressed overall shorts are casually perfect for a BBQ or watching fireworks. They can be dressed up with heels or worn with a pair of Chuck Taylor’s and a red lip.

A shift dress is complimentary to any and every shape and size. The blue ombre fade is 4th of July enough for me but also allows me to wear it a few more times this summer.
